More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.

Ages 11-15 (Capacity: 15 students)

Beginning and intermediate-level students can develop technique on the main instruments of the percussion family including the snare drum, bells, timpani, bass drum and cymbals. Students will learn about hand drum techniques, learn to read notes and explore rhythms so they are equipped with the necessary skills to participate in band at school.

Ages 11-18

Designed for wind, brass, and percussion players ages 10-18 with at least one year of experience. The camp is NOT structured to accommodate students who never played a band instrument. Students are evaluated and placed in levels appropriate to their experience. Participants develop advanced skills on their instruments with an emphasis on music theory with introduction to keyboard, sight-reading, listening, and instrument technique. Concert band repertoire will be prepared in sectionals and full-ensemble rehearsals, culminating in a band performance at the end of the camp session.

Tri-C's Creative Arts Academy is an all-Steinway School
Ages 8-12 (Capacity: 15 students) advanced beginner - intermediate levels

Comprehensive keyboard camp is specifically designed for advanced beginners and intermediate students. The camp is NOT structured to accommodate students who never played before or have had limited piano experience. Due to the limited size of the Keyboard Camp, the keyboard proficiency of each student will be assessed before they are accepted into the camp. Curriculum includes ensemble classes, private lessons, music theory, sight-singing, rhythm, and movement. The camp will conclude with a final presentation on June 13.

Orchestra string players (violin, viola, cello and double bass) will polish their instrumental skills through a mastery-based approach that includes sectional and ensemble rehearsals, music theory, and sight-reading. Students are evaluated and placed in levels appropriate to their experience. All students participate in a string orchestra performance at the conclusion of the camp.
Three-week camp for intermediate and advanced level students entering 5th through 12th grade.
Session A string ensemble classes include orchestral and chamber repertoire, and will feature special guest artists in a workshop/performance setting. Classes will also combine with a language arts class in which students learn journaling, storytelling and poetry, collaborating with classmates to create a performance with original words and music.

Two-week Camp for beginner level students entering 1st through 4th grade.

An immersive vocal training experience that includes solo and ensemble skills, music theory, sight-singing, rhythm and movement in addition to gaining foundational instruction and preparation of a wide range of choral repertoire that culminates in a final performance at the end of camp.

Student participants will explore their creativity through a mastery-based approach to modern dance. Contemporary techniques, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills will help campers develop coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility and alignment.

A two-week summer intensive designed for students with previous dance experience. Participants receive instruction from Tri-C Dance faculty and guest choreographers, focusing on the fundamentals of ballet, modern dance, floor work, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography, and composition. The camp concludes with a performance at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus on Saturday, June 21.

Mastery-based camp offering contemporary dance training for students at all levels. Ballet fundamentals, Horton technique and other essential skills help students develop coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility and alignment. Instruction in creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills prepare students for a performance setting.

Step into the world of experimental image-making! This hands-on class blends photography with mixed-media techniques, pushing creative boundaries beyond the camera. Students will explore alternative processes like collage and digital layering, transforming photographs into unique works of art. By combining drawing, painting, and printmaking with photography, participants will craft bold visual narratives that redefine storytelling. No experience needed—just curiosity and a love for creative exploration!

Capture the moment—literally! This class dives into the magic of instant photography, where images develop before your eyes. Using instant film formats, campers will experiment with creative techniques like emulsion lifts, image transfers, and hand-manipulated prints. By the end of the week, each participant will have a portfolio of one-of-a-kind instant artworks, celebrating the spontaneity and nostalgia of this iconic photographic style. Perfect for young artists who love hands-on experiences.

Participants in the intensive two-week JazzFest Academy Summer Camp have opportunities to play in big band, small group and jam sessions, interact with summer JazzFest artists, and attend all performances of the Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland at Playhouse Square. The camp culminates in a series of featured performances during JazzFest weekend on the Next Gen Stage.
